Story

The Alpha Pizza story started when our founder and chef, Taylor Begg, was given a pizza peel as a kid. That simple gift sparked a lifelong love of pizza, and from that moment, the experimenting began—mixing dough, learning about fermentation, trying new recipes, and chasing the perfect crust.

Over the years, that passion grew into a dream: to share pizza made by hand, with care, and served with genuine hospitality.

Every Alpha Pizza event is still fueled by that same love for the craft. Our dough ferments for 72 hours using a poolish starter, giving it flavor and texture that can’t be rushed. It comes out crisp on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. We use high-quality flour, fresh ingredients, and high-heat mobile ovens to make pizza fresh, right on site.

But Alpha Pizza isn’t just about the food. It’s about the moments—the laughs at a brewery pop-up, family celebrating at a wedding, or friends sharing a slice on a sunny afternoon. Being family-run and part of our community keeps us inspired and grounded.
